An art-pop quartet, The 1975 are one of the breakthrough British bands of the past decade. The school friends from the outskirts of Manchester reinvigorated the alternative music scene in 2013 with their self-titled debut album. Propelled by such hit songs as “Chocolate” and “Girls,” the album entered the UK charts at No. 1 and sold 1 million copies worldwide.
