Yesterday the electric company cut the power to wrong condo. That "wrong" condo ended up being mine. So for over 24 hours we've had no A/C (it's humid and in the 90's in KC), no lights, no hot water, no refrigeration (threw away brand new food today ), no hot water, and no way to cook food. I boiled water over five candles last night with Vic's help. (Thank goodness I used to go camping as a young kid, and thank goodness he's African, bahaha.) So yesterday I was pretty much forced out of the condo all day, which in a way was good. I BADLY needed to reconnect with Nature and center myself. So I took a stroll through our gigantic cemetery, sat against trees, watched squirrels play, and connected with souls no longer occupying their remains in the ground below. I also took some beautiful photos. I actually hoisted myself up in a tree to get this perspective through the divide of the branches. This tree was magnificent. Cemeteries have the best vegetation. Mineral-rich ground helps.
