    Cliff Drive is located in George E. Kessler Park in historic Northeast Kansas City and is part of the Kansas City, Missouri Park and Boulevard System. Cliff Drive was officially designated as a State Scenic Byway, one of only five in the state of Missouri, on June 2, 2000. The byway extends approximately 4 miles from Belmont Avenue west along Gladstone Boulevard and Cliff Drive, west to The Paseo. Video of a ride on Cliff Drive

    CAR FREE WEEKENDS ON CLIFF DRIVE
    This innovative program was implemented to provide car free, scenic opportunities for pedestrian and bicycle-oriented activities that promote healthy lifestyles for all. Gates along Cliff Drive close to all motorized vehicles at 2 p.m. Friday and remain closed until 8 a.m. on the following Monday. (If a holiday falls on a Friday the gates will close at 2 p.m. the preceding Thursday; if a holiday falls on Monday, the gates will re-open the following Tuesday at 8 a.m.). Map of Cliff Drive
