Kansas City has been known as the “City of Fountains” for half-century. This new book beautifully presents what’s behind the name.

The City of Fountains: Kansas City’s Legacy of Beauty and Motion commemorates the City of Fountains Foundation’s 50th anniversary. This book will delight visitors, collectors, and Kansas City residents.

Well-known Kansas City photographer Roy Inman helped the City of Fountains Foundation (COFF) create this special edition coffee-table book, which will delight readers with its unparalleled photo collection of Kansas City’s many fountains. This limited-edition, 144-page picture book showcases some of the city’s most impressive fountains and offers a peek into their history.

In addition to this collection of photographs by Inman, the City of Fountains Foundation offers a coloring book, a beautiful 500-piece fountain puzzle and special 1 ½ hr. fountain tours on Saturday’s this summer on their website, cityoffountain.org. Fountain prints of Roy Inman’s photographs and Jim Hamil’s watercolors are also available on the website. All sales benefit the fountains of Kansas City.
