Park on Kessler Rd near the trailhead North of the baseball diamonds
Honeysuckle Removal. By the end of the year, we’re hoping to finish clearing honeysuckle off the trail that trail runs from Kessler Rd to W. 26th St., just north of the ball diamonds, and clear growth away from the bases of nearby trees.
KCMO Parks and Recreation will provide loppers, gloves, bags, eye protection (personal glasses or sunglasses welcomed), and other supplies for all volunteers. Anyone younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear sleeves, long pants and sturdy shoes or work boots. Bring a reusable water bottle filled with water. Registration is required.
