The project included the construction of 0.8 miles of the Blue River Trail along Blue River Road from the Heart of America Golf Course south to the Eddy-Ballentine Trailhead. The trail is a 10-foot wide asphalt trail/side path along Blue River Road which provides a dedicated space for walkers, joggers, cyclists, and others to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Blue River area. This trail is funded in part by Federal Highway Administration grant funds.
