Kansas City, Missouri Parks and Recreation and Brookside Soccer Club (BSC) have partnered to launch a new youth soccer league in collaboration with Major League Soccer club Sporting Kansas City that will provide more recreational soccer opportunities and benefits to residents throughout Kansas City and surrounding areas.
Set to begin play in early 2020, Sporting Brookside welcomes boys and girls from Pre-K through high school to Swope Soccer Village to participate in this one-of-a-kind recreation league in Kansas City, Missouri.
“Brookside Soccer Club is extremely excited about the future of recreational soccer in Kansas City, Missouri and the enhanced opportunities that this collaboration will bring to the community,” said Brookside Soccer Club President Tim Gaarder. “We are thrilled to be able to guarantee long-term, affordable and inclusive soccer to all Kansas City residents.”
Built on a shared mission between KC Parks, Brookside Soccer Club and Sporting KC, the new league is designed for youth soccer players of all skill levels and backgrounds.
