At Kansas City Parks and Recreation, we know that keeping your mind and body active is key to your well-being. Our Life Enrichment programs are designed to encourage active agers to grow, connect, move and create through dynamic activity and involvement. Brush Creek Community Center provides a unique array of activities for members to explore their interests and expand their horizons. From educational workshops and lively discussion groups, to movement classes, creative writing, and the culinary arts, our members have the power to choose how to live their best life. There’s truly something for everyone!

Starting May 23  Thursdays @1 p.m.: Heartfelt Drumming with Cathy Burchett

Starting May 23  Thursdays @3 p.m.: Visual Art with Rico Alverez

Starting June 4  Tuesdays @ 10:30 a.m.: Poetry and Creative Writing with Michael Patton

Starting June 4 Tuesdays @ 3 p.m.: Culinary Arts with Karen Boyd

Starting June 5 Wednesdays @ 3 p.m.: Photography with Jason Piggie

Starting June 6 Thursdays @ 10:30 a.m.: Dance /Gentle Movement Class with Kyle Mullins

Ages 17-59: $5 per class
Age 60+: $3 per class
