{Throwback Thursday} “Cutting Grass on the Green” circa 1907 when the property just east of Shelter House No. 1 in Swope Park was a golf course. This was one of several ways grass was cut in the park and boulevard system just after 1900, other areas where being maintained by push mower and scythes.
