CLASSIFICATION: Community Center The Line Creek Community Center is unique for housing a year-round
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 2 indoor hockey/ice skating rink. The entrance opens into a daylit area
PARK DISTRICT: North with a central desk surrounded by a lobby, snack bar, restrooms, and
windows viewing the rink. The interior materials are exposed wood
YEAR ACQUIRED: 1996 joist and decking, decorative block, and tile. The finishes are in good
TOTAL AREA (SF): 33,237 sf condition. The exterior materials are brick, decorative block, tile patterns,
and stucco/EFIS. The sloping roof planes have exposed wood joints
and wood shingles which are in poor condition. The roof has many roof
PARK AMENITIES leaks. The are some conditional issues with exterior privacy masonry
walls. There is an exterior pool, but it is not currently in working condition.
• Lounge/Reception The facility struggles to hire lifeguards causing the pool to be closed
• Family Restroom often. The chemicals used have caused some erosion in the mechanical
