On September 22, community leaders celebrated South Kansas City at a time capsule burial
ceremony and ribbon cutting for the newly constructed 31-space parking lot at the Trailside Center.
The time capsule, filled with South KC memorabilia, was buried adjacent to the parking lot. It is
intended to be dug up in 2067.
