CLASSIFICATION: Park Located in the Eastwood Hills neighborhood adjacent to the elementary
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 3 school, this park is secluded from the public and was created with the
QLID
PARK DISTRICT: idea of nature play and study in mind. The park has a small parking
space, with signage and natural landscapes that are conducive to
ESTABLISHED: 1977 passive recreation and an outdoor classroom area. Opportunities for
ACREAGE: 6.15 acres improvement include:
• Create a clear route from the elementary school to the park, make
clear paths of sight throughout the space, and locate facilities near
PARK AMENITIES roads for safety and visibility
• There are opportunities to manage invasive species in the park,
• Old Park Sign (1) improve the seating areas in the outdoor classroom and create
