CLASSIFICATION: Park Big Blue Battlefield Park comprises over 86 acres of land in multiple
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 5 parcels on the north side of E. 63rd Street Trafficway between

PARK DISTRICT: Elmwood Avenue on the west and Hardesty Avenue on the east. It sits
adjacent to a mix of light industrial and office land uses, as well as single-
ESTABLISHED: 1995 family residential, and Swope Park, to the south. The park preserves

the location of one of the largest Civil War battles fought west of the
