SITE LOCATION: N.E. 53rd St. & San Rafael Dr. STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, & OPPORTUNITIES
CLASSIFICATION: Park San Rafael Park serves the Gracemor-Randolf neighborhood and
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 2 is the only park in the Northland east of Interstate 435. It is split into
eastern and western halves on either side of N.E. San Rafael Drive. The

PARK DISTRICT: western half of the park has newer amenities including a playground,
ESTABLISHED: 1968 picnic shelter and lop trail. The eastern half is older and also includes a
ACREAGE: 26.17 acres picnic shelter, playground, and football field which is maintained under a
shared usage agreement. Both halves of the park are in good condition
and feature adequate signage. Opportunities for improvement include:
