SITE LOCATION: 800 W. 13th St. STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, & OPPORTUNITIES
CLASSIFICATION: Park Mulkey Square is a park located on the west edge of downtown on a
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 4 piece of the west bluffs that is bordered by I-35 on the east and I-670
Central
PARK DISTRICT: on the south. The park has only one immediate neighbor, a commercial
office building, but is connected to the nearby Andrew Drips and Jarboe
ESTABLISHED: 1904 Parks by a pedestrian overpass that crosses I-670. The park boasts
ACREAGE: 8.87 Acres a very well maintained ball diamond, playground, a distinctive picnic
shelter and new restrooms. The park is also home to the hereford bull
statue that is visible from surroudning highways. This park is a part of the
PARK AMENITIES larger WestTerrace Park that stretches along the west bluffs overlooking
the West Bottoms. Opportunities for improvements include:
