PARK DISTRICT: located amidst industrial uses, it is just a block away from the Indian
Mound neighborhood. The park is in a state of significant disrepair.
ESTABLISHED: 1967 Virtually all of its amenities from the ballfields to the batting cages and the
ACREAGE: 18.99 Acres parking lot to the playground need to be rehabilitated or replaced. The
park provides adequate space for its amenities and they are amenties
not provided by other nearby parks. However, the cost to bring all of
PARK AMENITIES these amenities back to good working condition will be significant. The
recent 2023 Kessler Park Master Plan proposed the following solutions:
