SITE LOCATION: Riverfront Rd. & N. Monroe Ave. STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, & OPPORTUNITIES
CLASSIFICATION: Athletic Complex Riverfront Park is one of the largest properties in the system and
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 4 preserves riparian forest along the south side of the Missouri River

PARK DISTRICT: between N. Olive Street on the west and the confluence wth the
Blue River on the east. The entire park lies inside of the levee and is
ESTABLISHED: 1947 encumbered by regulatory floodplain. The park provides a public boat
ACREAGE: 955.45 Acres ramp and ample parking for those who wish to access the Missouri
River. Due to a location that is relatively isolated from neighborhoods
as well as the limited access to the property from surrounding streets,
PARK AMENITIES this park is rather inaccessible to the public and provides limited uses.
