SITE LOCATION: N.E. 32nd St. & N. Holmes Rd. STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, & OPPORTUNITIES
CLASSIFICATION: Greenway Riverview Greenway is a natural area that preserves over 44 acres
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 4 of forested land on the hills that overlook the the North Kansas City
North
PARK DISTRICT: Levee System and North Kansas City. If the City were to develop this
greenway as linear park or trail, this space would have the potential
ESTABLISHED: 1957 to link neighborhoods and schools in Kansas City and North Kansas
ACREAGE: 44.55 acres City as well as provide its users with access to nature. Necessary
improvements would include:
• New KC parks signage
PARK AMENITIES • A multi-use path
• Removal of select vegetation to provide visibility
• Stream/Creek (1) • Management plan for invasive plant species
