SITE LOCATION: N.W. 88th St. & N. Hampton STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, & OPPORTUNITIES
CLASSIFICATION: Park Mark McHenry Park (formerly named Tiffany Springs Park) is one of the
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 1 largest parks in Council District #1. The park has long served Northland
North
PARK DISTRICT: communities as an athletic venue with numerous ball diamonds and
soccer fields. Vandalism including off road driving has been an issue at
ESTABLISHED: 1966 this park. The vast acreage also preserves woodland habitat and the
ACREAGE: 838.46 acres North Brush Creek riparian corridor. In addition to the many ballfields,
the park also features nearly 3.5 miles of natural surface trail. This park
would benefit most by providing:
PARK AMENITIES • Upgrades to shelters, seating, and amenity areas for visitors at the
two ballfield areas
• Benches (2) • Providing added pedestrian infrastructure and signage throughout
