SITE LOCATION: 10500 Hillcrest Rd. STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, & OPPORTUNITIES
CLASSIFICATION: Park Jerry Darter Park preserves over 24 acres of wooded landscape in the
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 5 Hickman Mills Creek watershed. It is located immediately northeast of
the Grandview Triangle and is the home of Hillcrest Community Center.

PARK DISTRICT: Though this site is not accessible from adjacent neighborhoods by
ESTABLISHED: 1974 sidewalk, the park offers a well-maintained park loop trail through
the forested grounds. The space offers visitors a number of outdoor
