This course provides youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care to infants and children. Participants will develop leadership skills, build their babysitting business, and learn age-appropriate milestones and behaviors.  Participants will also practice how to keep themselves and others safe, child care basics, what to do in emergency situations, and first aid and CPR techniques. With successful completion of this course and skills tests, participants will earn an American Red Cross Babysitting Certification AND a 2 year Pediatric (Child and Infant) First Aid/ CPR Certification. Advanced registration is required. This course will take the full day, so bring lunch and a water bottle.
