Get your furry friend into the holiday spirit
Kansas City Parks and Recreation is excited to announce its inaugural Santa Paws in the Park. The family and dog-friendly event will feature a pet parade, holiday costume competition, photos with Santa, Pup Cups, a Furever Tree display, and more! Santa Paws is the perfect way to spread holiday cheer with furry friends. It’s free and open to the public.
WHAT: Santa Paws in the Park
WHEN: Saturday, December 7th, 2-4 p.m.
WHERE: Jacob Loose Park (Rose Garden), 5200 Wornall Rd. Kansas City, Missouri 64112
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Pet Parade through the Rose Garden pillars led by Grand Marshal KC Wolf
- Pet Costume Competition with celebrity judges and prizes from Three Dog Bakery
- Furever Tree display to honor pets who have passed
- Pup Cup treats
- Photos with Santa, free or purchase a commemorative photo ornament
- Photo ops with a Giant Grinch Chair and Howliday House
- Chiefs Cheer and Kingdom Crew Pet Pack on-site with giveaways
- Performances by the Tinseltone KC Carolers
The event is free to attend with optional add-ons to support Loose Park and the Rose Garden.
