Pools and Water Parks open tomorrow!
Kansas City Parks & Recreation announces the official opening of outdoor pools and water parks for the 2025 summer season on Friday, May 30th. KC Parks spraygrounds opened on Memorial Day weekend. A total of $6.5 million of improvements have been made to outdoor aquatics facilities this year.

Gorman Pool: $4.5K, point of sale system and caulking work
The Springs Aquatic Center: $380K, play structure
Ashland Square Park: $1.4M, sprayground
Tony Aguirre Community Center: $4.4M, new outdoor pool (opening early July)
