A larger-than-life bronze statue of Mayor Davis was funded by many contributors and placed in the park in 2004. The sculpture, created by Bruce Wolfe, depicts Mayor Davis dressed in a suit with a vest. Both of his hands are in his pants pockets. His suitcoat is open. His weight is on his right leg while his left leg is slightly bent and his left foot is pointing towards the left. His head is facing slightly to the right. He is wearing reading glasses.
