SITE LOCATION: 3601 E. 63rd St. STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, & OPPORTUNITIES
CLASSIFICATION: Other The Former Southeast Community Center is currently rented to the
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 5 Church of Faith. The spaces in the facility include a gymnasium with a
stage at one end used for worship services, a multi-purpose meeting
PARK DISTRICT: South room, and a full kitchen with a rolling window for serving. There are
YEAR ACQUIRED: 1954 offices, men’s and women’s restrooms, and two small meeting rooms
used as a nursery and pantry. The interior spaces flank a central
TOTAL AREA (SF): 9,341 sf corridor. The finishes are in fair condition and the doors do not have
code compliant hardware. The MEP systems work well. The windows,
which are no longer operational, have single-pane glazing. The facility
