SITE LOCATION: E. 62nd St. Terr. & Marion Dr. STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, & OPPORTUNITIES
CLASSIFICATION: Park Timber Valley Park is in east Kansas City near Raytown. It preserves
COUNCIL DISTRICT: 5 over 20 acres of forested land and a creek in the Wildwood Creek
PARK DISTRICT: South watershed. It provides a wooded buffer between single-family homes
in the Timber Creek neighborhood but no other recreational amenities
ESTABLISHED: 1979 or even signage. The property is true to its name with steep topography
ACREAGE: 21.6 acres in places and limited frontage on public streets. There is a powerline
easement that passes through the park. The property abuts Norfleet
Elementary school. Possible improvements include:
