WARMING/COOLING SITE: During days of high heat and frigid temperatures, community centers will be available for use by any member of the public as a cooling/warming center free of charge during regular operating hours.

RAINOUT LINE
In inclement weather, the determination to close Kansas City Parks & Recreation facilities or cancel classes may occur. Notifications and updates are now provided via the Rainout Line which can be accessed the following ways:

  • Call the Rainout Line at 816-306-3323
  • Visit www.rainoutline.com and register for alerts from KC Parks
  • Download the Rainout Line App and subscribe to be notified directly via text or email.
