Currently KC Parks teams participate in Basketball,
Athletics (Track and Field) and Tennis! Interested in your
child becoming a Special Olympics Athlete or in learning

Location: Multiple Adaptive Archery
Archery has been in tons of movies and shows lately, but did you know
that it’s been practiced for thousands of years? It can be a competitive
sport or simply a fun recreational activity! If you’ve always wanted to
learn, just show up – we’ll provide the equipment.
Adaptive archery will allow individuals with disabilities the
opportunity to practice the sport with a lower participant-to-staff
ratio so that accommodations can be appropriately made, and
individualized attention can be given.
Age: Youth (8+ years) and adults
Fee: $30 per session
Duration: One day a week (Sundays) for 6-week sessions
Location: Kansas City North
