Pop-Up Play Program Brings Fun Activities to Parks

Children of all abilities are encouraged to attend

Kansas City’s Parks & Recreation Department is excited to bring the Pop-Up play program to different parks across the area. Staff members are bringing equipment, activities and games to parks and playgrounds for kids to play with. It’s a self-led play time where children and parents can explore and interact with each other. The different equipment may include the imagination playground, bubble and chalk stations and sports gear. At each pop-up, there will be a QR code survey that parents can fill out to help give positive feedback on the parks. It’s happening every Wednesday from May 31 until July 5.
